For farmers, running the farm is already a full-time job. On top of that, they have to move their product and build their own customer base, competing against industries with the resources to do it at scale. What those resources move is imported food. It’s one of the reasons 85% of what we eat in Puerto Rico comes from off the island, even when there are farms minutes from your home.
For families, buying local is possible, but it’s rarely consistent. A market one Saturday, a fair now and then, the promise that “today we have it.” And between work, family and what little time is left, chasing it becomes one more chore, one that almost always loses to the convenience of the supermarket. What’s missing isn’t the desire to eat local. It’s something reliable, high quality and easy to keep up every two weeks, without having to go looking for it.
Here, farmers and their neighbors know each other by name, at the farm and at community events. The basket follows the Puerto Rican cooking that shows up on your table again and again: eggs, peppers, tomatoes, recao, ají dulce, guineo. Bread is available as an add-on.
Add-onOur growers are in Caguas, Gurabo and San Lorenzo, close to your home.

We’re Aurora and Isabel, the founders of Con Cosecha. We’ve known each other for 18 years and bring more than 15 years of combined experience in agriculture, customer experience, operations and systems to this project. Our goal is to build a community around the harvest.
Con Cosecha is a basket of local produce designed around Puerto Rican cooking. Instead of building the basket from whatever is left over in the field, we design it first around what families actually cook every two weeks, then work with our farmer network to source it.
We pick up at the farms on Thursdays and deliver on Fridays, every 15 days. Your basket arrives fresh, in reusable baskets, straight from farmers near you.
$58 every two weeks + 1% municipal sales tax (IVU), with a dozen eggs. You can add more eggs (+$4, +$8 or +$12) or sourdough bread (+$10). The reusable basket is a one-time $10 charge with your first order.
We work with several farms per product so nothing runs short. If something still isn’t available, we replace it with another item from the same group. Before each delivery we let you know what’s in your basket.
Your first charge happens when you subscribe. Then we adjust your date so the following charges fall on the Sunday before each delivery week, every two weeks.
Fill out the pauses and changes form. For it to apply to your next basket, send your request no later than the Friday before the charge.

When you subscribe, you give us a backup plan: a neighbor, a safe spot or someone who can receive it for you. If the basket can’t be delivered, we donate it to a community organization in Caguas. In that case there’s no refund, because we’ve already paid the farms for it.
